Shopping

The Steenberg Village Shopping Centre is a wonderful centre, with a Woolworths, Pick 'n Pay for your grocery needs, as well as a number of speciality stores, and home & décor options, while the bigger Blue Route Mall is just 10-miunutes drive away. The latter has everything you need, from large-name retailers to smaller, bespoke stores and a cinema. 

Restaurants and Bars

Based in the prestigious Constantia Wine Valley, residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. With the estate neighbouring the Steenberg Golf Estate, you have the option of popping into either Bistro 1682 or Catharina's (there is also the opportunity to apply for membership to the golf club), while other fine dining venues like the Chef's Kitchen at Beau Constantia and La Colombe at Silvermist Estate are also not too far to travel. The Steenberg Village Centre is also home to some local favourites such as Jake's, Basilico and the Cape Town Fish Market. The Constantia Wine Route is also world class with older farms like Groot - and Klein - Constantia combining with 'younger' estates like Constantia Glen and Eagle's Nest to create an incredible variety of experiences, including cellar tours, pairings and signature tastings. It could be argued, that outside of the city bowl, Constantia may boast some of the most impressive eateries and wine experiences in Cape Town.

Schools

The close locale of well-regarded private school Reddam House Constantia, based in nearby Steenberg, which caters for children in pre-primary all the way up to Grade 12, is a big draw for residents. The Constantia Waldorf School - around 10-15 minutes by car - is another great option, with pre-primary to Grade 12 classes offered.

Hospitals

The Melomed Tokai Private Hospital and the Tokai Medicross are both located within minutes of Blue Route Mall, while the Constantiaberg Mediclinic is a world class facility, offering 24/7 care and is around 15-20 minutes by car.
